Getting there
Public transport
Either take the train to Nijmegen Heyendaal station, which is across the road from Mercator 1, or take bus 10 (“Heyendaal Shuttle”) from Nijmegen Central station to the university campus. The closest bus stops are “Huygensgebouw” or “Station Heyendaal”.
It’s also possible to rent a bicycle at Nijmegen Central station.
Car
Mercator 1 is at the corner of Toernooiveld and Heyendaalseweg, next to the Huygens building, the main building of the Faculty of Science. If you come by car, there is (paid) parking behind our building, in parking lot P12, or under the Huygens building across the road, in parking garage P11. The University website has an overview of parking spaces & regulations for visitor parking. If you need to charge an electric vehicle, there are some charge points on-campus.
